Knocking Sound While Turning

HI all,

	Recently my car has developed a knocking sound in the driver's side
suspension, under right turns.  It happend more often during the long
bending high speed turns of country highways.  In the city, during 90 degree
turns, i don't hear the noise.  I don't think it is a wheel bearing, they
were replaced about 20k miles ago.  I think it might be the CV joint, does
this sound riight?  How hard or expensive is the repair?  Any advice would
be appreciated.  The car is a 1988 Audi 90 quattro.
