V8q auto cooling lines

In speaking with the Audi mech on this issue, he mentioned there were
updated cooling lines (that, like any Audi part were NOT cheap). Looking
over the family album, I see two types, but I'm unsure which are the
updated lines.
My model has the lines which terminate to the trans with a ball/socket
nut with oring. I see on the album there is a line which terminates with
a banjo bolt arrangement (same type arrangement as the hydraulic pump,
for example).
Anyone know which would be the updated line?
