Yeah, I forgot about the A6 2.7T. But we weren't talking about
that car, were we? I've seen plenty of 2.7Ts and 4.2s around
here- it's weird that you wouldn't see even more up in New
England, strong quattro country.

The 2000 A6 comes with a 250hp V6 biturbo, the same engine as in the 
S4.  That and a V8(and I think the traditional 30v 2.8 v6) are 
available this year.  However, you're correct, there was no such 
model in 1996.

I haven't seen any V8's or turbos in Boston yet...
