Yikes... very scary... Glad everyone made out alright...
I had a similar incident in a Hum-V happen to me when I was in the Army... I
used the hose from the fire extinguisher to pull the terminal cable off of
the battery. The ends of the wire are usually just crimped into the terminal
connector and with the adrenaline rushing, it took only a little effort to
get it disconnected.
