    Safety is one reason.  Would you rather be in a Subaru or and Audi when 
you get slammed by a big truck?  Handling is another reason.  Unless you have 
one of the few special edition Subaru's you get pretty bad handling compared 
to your Audi.  Take one around a few switch backs and you will see what I 
mean.  Granted this can be improved but only as much as money and the car 
allows.  Audi has much more sport in it and Subaru has much more utility.  
Also the turbo Subaru's had a lot of electronic crap (dig dash power 
everything [no heated seats though]) and you might find your self having a 
lot of problems with those systems.  I know their power window switches are 
about as good as Audi's and their dig dash is about the quality of GM's.
