V8 Quattro fault codes (RPM Sensor replacement)
Did you replace the rpm sensor? I'm getting a persistent 2111 and an occasional
stumble when I'm driving and I had my mechanic look at replacing the sensor.
Not only is it expensive ($150) but it seems inaccesible to. You can barely see
the
sensor from the bottom of the car and it's behind a heatshield that's behind the
header pipe. Book time for replacing the sensor is 4 hours. Since a number of
people
on the list seem to have replaced the sensor(s) on the V8Q, any hints on how to
do it?
