ext. rear mirror/door removal/repl.

Hello All,

the drivers side exterior rear-view mirror on my 1993
Audi 100CS needs to be replaced.

It looks like the inside door panel might need to be
removed.  Can anyone give me the procedure to replace
the mirror or the door panel from experience or from
the manual.
