Ok, fair enough.  I have an 83 4000s and the internal mechanisms of the door
latches seem to break regularly.  It's been several years since I replaced
one, so I'm going from memory.  The external door handles have an internal
mechanism that breaks.  If I remember correctly, I needed to get the whole
external handle the last time.  So, then, I guess I'm looking for 1
(passenger side) or both rear door handles.  Perhaps this will help.  Thanks.
