Re: Hot start problems- 5kcstq

I seem to remember Phil or some of the others discussing this at length some
time ago. I thought the discussion turned to leaking injectors. The thought
was that the injectors would leakdown and for 2 minutes up until about 6
hours the car would be hard to start because it was flooded. The extended
cranking would tend to clear the excess fuel. Then it would start fine. Any
extended periods of rest would allow the fuel to evaporate or what have you
and the car starts fine. Does anyone remember this thread? I found this was
the case with my car at that time. 2 of the injectors were leaking and I
constantly had hot start problems with extended cranking.
