Type 44 Oil and fuel filters

	Renewing oil filter Remove oil filter (Laser 76/14 socket useful) Clean contact surface on engine Lightly oil rubber seal Screw new oil filter on and tighten by hand Note: Cleaning and reusing the filter is not permissible
	Renewing fuel filter Carburetor engine (Filter in engine compartment) Note fitting position Arrow or arrows on the filter show the flow direction Check system for leaks
	Diesel engine Note Please ensure no Diesel fuel drips onto the coolant hoses - otherwise the hoses must be cleaned immediately. Note fitting position: Arrows on the fuel filter show the flow direction (see 1 and 2).
	Note for 3D engine: Hold union 1 when unscrewing filter Coat new ring and rubber seal for the new filter lightly with Diesel fuel Tighten fuel by hand only Pay attention to inner seal (plastic insert/rubber seal
	Filter with Diesel fuel preheating Supply from fuel tank Supply to fuel injection pump (FIP) Return flow from FIP Return flow to tank (marked with arrow) Retaining clip for regulating valve Remove clip 5 and take regulating valve off with fuel pipes connected. Fit new O ring, install valve and refit clip. See Figure. After installing the filter:(With and without fuel preheating) Check fuel system for leaks After the engine has been accelerated a few times, fuel should flow through the transparent hose free of bubbles at idling speed
