On vehicles with catalyst connect CO tester to CO measuring pipe in engine compartment. When doing this, the hose of the adapter VAG 1363/3 must fit tightly onto CO measuring pipe, to ensure that it is free of leaks.- Engine code letters JW:
Vacuum hose pulled off - Start engine and run at idling speed.

Note:
The ignition timing point is invalid for engines with engine code NP running on "premium unleaded" (95 RON)
If required, adjust ignition timing by rotating distributor

 | - Check idling speed and CO content and if necessary adjust to the appropriate specifications by alternately rotating the regulating valve A for idling speed and the CO adjustment screw B
