Engine Removal

• Unscrew front subframe mounting bolts and detach subframe, pressing wishbone joint out of suspension strut.

• Attach lifting bracket 2024A
  • Position 3 - 3rd hole
  • Position 8 - 4th hole
• To balance the weight of the engine/gearbox assembly the vertical bars must be set at the correct length and in the correct position on the horizontal beam
• The positions marked 1 - 4 on the horizontal beam must face towards the pulley end. The holes in the vertical bars are counted upwards from the hooks.
• Raise the engine slightly
