Audi ur-quattro 10V WR, WX, GV and MB Engines
Engine Removal

• [WR] Detach the vacuum hoses from the two-way switchover valve
• [MB] Detach the vacuum hoses from inlet manifold
• [WR] Cut the vacuum hoses and unscrew the thermopneumatic valve (hose stubs remain attached - care, very fragile)
• Unscrew the speed sender from the left side of the differential applying force only to the metal adapter underneath

• Remove the distributor cap
• Pull the centre lead off the distributor cap
• Detach the distributor Hall sender connector
• [WR] Pull the connectors off the thermotime switch and the coolant overheat switch
• [MB] Pull the connector off the temperature sender
• Detach the heater hose from the back of the engine block
