The first versions of the Audi ur-quattro were fitted with a distributor that is not only no longer available, it is undocumented in Audi's ETKA spare parts system. It was, however, documented on the last version of the parts microfiche which preceded ETKA.
Part number 035 905 206L (Bosch 0 237 028 003) was fitted up to chassis number 85-C-902 000 and superseded from 85-D-900 001 by 035 905 205AJ (Bosch 0 237 028 005). The two are in fact functionally identical and interchangeable - the only change was to move the scribed lines in the distributor wall and on the Hall sender rotor to a position directly aligned with the rotor arm. The advantage is that distributor alignment can be checked at least roughly without removing the rotor arm and dust cap.

Note that the rotor arm on the early distributor is about 15° clockwise of the alignment marks. On all other ur-quattro distributors, the scribed lines are in line with the rotor arm when the distributor is aligned.
