You seem to be implying that you want to convert that Coupe to all wheel
To do that you'll pretty much need the entire floor pan from a 4kq, for
the larger center tunnel and the rear subframe/upper strut mounting points.
The body/door side trim is a pain, because it is glued on, not bolted
like the type 44, and doesn't salvage well due to the metal strips in
it. I don't know if I ever looked into getting it from a dealer.
The FWD and Quattro transaxles aren't particularly compatible with each
from what I know. That is, I don't think you can merge them.
If you really want a Quattro, I'd hold out for one to start with, then
look into dropping your TD into that.
There is a lot of inter-compatibility between the Audi longitudinal
engines and the transmissions that bolt to them, I think.
