With the recent thread about the VAG-COM,  Has any one made there own cable
to use the Beta software? at

I would love to use my lap top to check codes try and read my air bag code
and reset it etc.  Just wondering.

Also, I'm getting ready to fix my auto check display, what is the consensus
to go over every solder joint in the panel or target a certain few?
