[200q20v] Fogging windows!!! HELP!!

Put the climate control into the mode to read fault codes, go to channel 7, 
and look at the display.  If segment 2 is lit, the recirculation fresh air 
flap is in recirculation mode.  Segment 2 is the top segment on the right 
hand numeral.  Diagram etc. here:

I always thought the door opened and shut as the climate control functioned; 
I've heard it clunk open/shut on occasion; test this by hitting the "off" 
button.
