[200q20v] things I worry about when the car is running OK

It occured to me recently that when I received my modified ECU from
Anderson Motorsport some months ago (via group purchase deal), my old
(stock) EPROM chip wasn't returned. Is it not customary for this to be
returned to the owner? Did anyone who had the upgrade done by Anderson get
the old chip back? If so, did you have to make a special request?  And
should I care?
