[200q20v] power steering hose (rebuilding) question

OK, I've finally grasped the essence of that approach, which earlier I had
(mistakenly) thought would involve removing the wheel and working from
inside the wheelwell. Now I realize that you merely back your extensions
into the wheel's  (tierod)  opening in order to aim and then feed them
toward the hose fitting. The control (handle) end of the extension ends up
in the gap between the engine and passenger fender wall. That's cool!  I
tested it with my TV antenna "extension" and can see the path to take. Now
all I need is to buy another 10" section of 1/2" extension (I already have
16" from combining 10+3+flexjoint).

What's that expression? Make haste slowly. I knew myself ( and my Audi)
well enough to pay no more than the 2nd Day Air rate when I ordered the new
hose.  :-)
