Pete,
Please check the archives just a month or two back, we have covered this
at least twice in the past few months.
To keep it short- unless you can find appropriate Bose line-level
converters,
this is not possible. Even if you do, it will sound like crap, so you're
better
off scrapping the whole thing and replacing everything. It can be done for
fairly cheap if you do the work yourself. Trust me, even some pretty low-end
stuff sounds better than the Bose system.

me where I can find the details for replacing the Bose cassette receiver
with aftermarket unit. I'd like to keep it relatively inexpensive i.e. just
the receiver.
