[200q20v] Inlet air temp sensor

Does anybody have any experience with intermitent, or alltogether failing 
inlet air temp sensors?  Driving down the road the other day had the check 
engine light come on and stay on for quite a while.  Ran the fault codes 
yesterday and came up with the inlet air temp sensor.  Disconnected the ecu 
and checked the resistance on the sensor; resistance at the given 
temperature was fine.

Scott Mockry mentioned that these do come up as intermitent from time to 
time (no pun intended).  Anybody been down this road before?

Also erased the fault codes after checking to see if the fault comes up 
again.
