[200q20v] lower wastegate hose?

Dan-
DO NOT just clamp off the lower wastegate hose- if you want to
destroy your engine, let me know and I'll come with a truck and
pull the engine for you before you wreck it.

You obviously have a problem- have you checked the vacuum system
for leaks? Have you checked the condition of your intercooler hoses
and the bypass valve? What about the connection points to the boost
gauge? Are these leak free as well?
