[200q20v] plug wire connection to distributor cap

His 10vt likely doesn't have the bypass valve installed, unless added by a 
previous owner.  I agree, either a vac leak, or just not tuned correctly.

I recently bought a 1989 Audi 200 turbo and It's a great car. Until 
recently I am experiencing stalling when coming for a stop light stop.  
The problem comes after a couple of minutes driving but it is erratic I

Occassional stalling (after you have your plug wire problem taken care of) is 
often sign of vacuum leak or (because the 20v compensates better than the 
previous turbo cars) more likely, bad turbo bypass valve (sometimes both).
