[200q20v] self diagnostic warning light fits

The self diagnostic warning center on my 200 has gone slightly nuts - it
regularly flashes/beeps about the coolant and the oil pressure even though
all is well in those areas.

Is there a way to do a lobotomy on this 'feature' of the car?
