[200q20v] Brake fade and lockup help

Today I took a ryde to queens from my home in Newark NJ.
Once in th city, crossing China town gradually my brakes seem to loose pressure on the pedal and the car also seemd have to front rotors frozon or locked up.
It got to a point that if I just touched th brk pedal the car would slam on the braked, just like I was riding the brakes.
I had to stop and let the smoking rotors cool down to continue.
Once the the fast moving highway no problem but as soon as I hit traffic in 90f temp little by little I loose pedal and the front brakes lock up

Any I deal that could help in tomorows problem search
