One caveat when upgrading to/replacing Bilstein cartridges. Bilstein has a
special tool used to tighten their combination nut/seal. This tool (or
wrench), while a nifty idea, cannot be removed except through the upper strut
attachment point. In other words, through the opening of the upper strut
mounting. Even so, I found using a chain wrench works much better. Plus, in
case the nut/seal does loosen up for whatever reason, you can get in there a
lot easier with a chain wrench than trying to use the Bilstein wrench. Sure,
you can slot the Bilstein tool, but then it will easily fatigue when using
any appreciable amount of torque. Just my $0.02
