The local Suzuki (motorcycle) shop used to sell a plastic repair kit for
about $20. The kit was intended for fixing cracks in fairing parts. It
had a few small pieces of fiberglass matte & cloth, and 3 chemicals,
cleaner-prep, cyanoacrylate-glue, and spray on accelerant (glue
catalyst). I used this to repair a plastic radiator on a friend's
Honda. The patch turned brown from the heat (I guess), but lasted about
35k miles (under pressure) until the radiator expired for some other
reason, as I was later told.
