[200q20v] A/C Problem(s)

I've heard that simply re-filling your system with
R134 will work as long as there's enough R12 to
circulate the oil, otherwise compressor damage is
imminent.

Generally, mixing the 2 refrigerants is frowned upon
by service folks who risk contaminating their supply
if they reclaim your refridgerant.

R134a doesn't mix with the R12 oil so the conversions
usually have you change oils too.
