Richard,
If you're spending the $ for 16 x 8, why not go to 17's?  The tire cost
between 16 and 17 is rather minimal, especially compared to 18" +
diameters, and the ride doesn't suffer significantly compared to stock
15's.  I put on some ASA IS6 17 x 8 wheels with 235/45ZR x 17 Kuhmo
tires this March w/zero complaints.  Good looking and relatively easy to
clean.
