Rob,
I'm installing a VDO Vision series boost gauge and an
Autometer air/fuel meter on the A-pillar. I like the pod
mount because if it is done right, it looks integrated into
the whole scheme of things, rather than having a couple
"cups" mounted on my dash.

Guys,
What are you trying to put in the pods?
More than one guage? Or just a boost gauge? If its a boost gauge, there is
an A pillar mount shown on SMJ's site and I have duplicated it in my 87 5ktq
for that application. Came out nice too. Autometer boost gauge and the
mount that came with the backshell fit right on the A pillar.

Oh man, Ive tried them all. Nothing even comes close. I even tried to
have a company custom make them (remember that ordeal?). It was tragic.
If you get ANY leads whatsoever on what fits our cars, please pass it
on! I was fortunate enough to go to a local speed shop and he let me try
all he had in stock (at least 20 of them). Nothing was even reasonably
close...
