Bernie,

I'll drop him a line to see what can be done.  The only other issue I can
think of coming up with previously plastic geared distributors would be the
hall sender.  That's what killed mine, but with all of these replacements
out there now, shouldn't be hard to find a donor.

I investigated the 10v drive gear as an option way back when and found a
dead end there as well.  The guy that contacted me was more curious about
needing a replacement for his car than as a possible source for ours.

On a side note, was reading one of those Euro Audi Magazines last week and
they had a piece on the 20v coupe.  In the article they mentioned the
plastic gear as a potential liability (no surprise here), but I was thinking
as this moves forward we could conact that magazine and see if they would be
able to put out notification to their subscriberhood.  We might be able to
get enough people as it is, but...
