Dan-
Welcome to the list and ownership of your new '91 200q.
A few suggestions- please don't post in HTML and break
up your post a bit so it's easier to read.
It sounds like you bought the car that was on ebay in
Springfield, PA or thereabouts.
Definitely do the timing belt, belt tensioner, cam seal,
front crank seal and water pump.
Also, inspect the cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires and the boost
hoses- you'll have to remove the hoses to check them.
Take a look at the bypass valve to see if it needs replacement-
another thing you'll have to remove. Consider getting a Forge,
Bailey or TurboXS valve- change once, don't think about it ever
again.
Forget about 235/60R15 tires and consider a wheel and tire upgrade
if you're looking for better handling- my car is great with
225/45R17s on 17x8s.
The boost gauge should show 1.8 at max boost.
Make sure you find out where you can have the warranty work done
and get the boost problem fixed for free.
