I've always thought that the copper line was a neat solution. Another
long-term solution is to use standard rubber hose but increase its
length by about 3 feet so it can be run out to (and along) the inside
edge of the fender--away from manifold/turbo heat.
Special heat-resistant rubber hose is overkill, IMHO.
