Thanks for all your input - I've done some further investigating and it
appears to me that the offensive fuel vapor odor is coming from the rear,
right (passenger..) side of the car; most concentrated in the region of the
fuel filler/tank.  NO traces of odor under the hood (or anywhere else) w/
engine running or not.  No signs of leakage but still have not pulled codes
(busy weekend..).  Thanks again for previous advice & and any forthcoming...
