I'm having the same problem.

There is a leak up high where the filler neck joins
the gas tank expansion.  Haven't tried getting to it
from the trunk but access appears impossible from the
outside.

I don't fill past 3/4 tank anymore and there is no
leak but pressurized tank still emits fuel odor.
