About 2-3 years back, my high pressure hose let go, but I didn't
quite know at the time what was leaking...same problem as Steve's.
Probably roughly the same kind of problem ER people have when a guy
walks in covered in blood. Yeah, obviously SOMETHING is leaking...
:-)

So, I took it to a local shop that had an Audi Master Tech(they've
since shut down, bah) and the guy called me around the time I got
into work.

He said they had found the leak; they refilled the reservoir, and
turned the car on with the hood up. He said his assistant noted the
geyser with the comment, "ah. That's where the leak is."

The price tag on the hose made me stop laughing.
