Driving with no power steering high pressure hose

I drove it to school today. This gives me a new
appreciation for modern brakes. I've practiced a
couple times to see if I can stop in an emergency. It
really hasn't been that bad. I think I could live
without power steering, but the brakes are a real
pain. I have to stand on the pedal whenever stoping.
I'll have the hose back on this afternoon, so I don't
have to worry about this.
