Anyone know what's involved in doing this? I'm very interested- could
use an
extra switch in the dash panel to disconnect the WGFV for those times
when I have
to entrust the car to someone else (seldom, but it happens).

As far as a "valet" mode, you could rig a switch inside the car to
disconnect the WGFV pretty easy.
