MFTS replacement advice needed

I hope it goes without saying that you don't open up and work on the cooling
system when it's hot ;-)

The answer to your question, IME, is to work fast and be ready to thread in
the replacement MTS quickly. Not sure what access is like on the 20V, but on
a MC engine 10V you won't normally loose much coolant (a cup or so maybe).

Coolant will flow out. The other option is to do everything you would want
to on your cooling system (like...how old are your hoses? your coolant over
2 years old? what about the heater valve--ever changed it?) at one time and
drain it before you began.
