I haven't heard of a stock 20v EM failing like the 10v ones sometimes do,
so life is unfortunately (for those who want an excuse to uppgrade to RS2
spec) too long. I know Kerry Leeds/Griffith in Park City has an RS2 EM with
chip and stock turbo, he likes it...his car was of course quicker than my
then-unchipped car, but most of that was the chip. RS2 EM w/ stock k24 is
probably a little silly with the minor hassle of removing the turbo anyway
(might as well put on a bigger one while it's off, right?) but I would do
it if the price was right for the RS2 EM and cheap labor (beer)...new they
seem to run $700 or so (and no real Audi new ones any more, I think I read
a while back, just copies available now).

like the 10V turbos EMs? Has anybody done an RS2 EM but kept the stock
K24? Is something like that worthwhile, or a total waste? What's a good
price for an RS2 EM?
