[200q20v] Headlight Protection

Here goes an update guys, I stopped by Stongard's head office today.
Picked up a material sample while talking to them about my cracked
Stongard'ed euro lights.
1. My Mitutoyo caliper says the sample material is 2 mm thick, an appears to
be the same as on the headlight.
2. Do not buy euro headlight covers right now. The size is wrong, about
1/2"+ in the vertical dimension.
Their polite technician check both the standard and euro part numbered
plastic covers, and the only difference appeared to be two holes along the
bottom edge for the standard headlight. They took my car into their shop
and measured my Bosch Euros for a "pattern" and will call me when the
correct size headlight covers arrive. Someone on this thread said they were
going to return a set, suggest sending them an e-mail (address @
www.stongard.com) saying you want to exchange yours, or return them anyway,
your choice.
3. As far as any resolution for my improperly sized euro light covers with
a cracked headlight behind, guess we will be doing more talking, didn't like
their first answer. 'Nuf said for right now. Will update again later.
