source for roof rack bars?

Check out your local auto recyclers.

Audi 5000 and 100 avant racks also fit.

Picked up a rust free set of racks and the rear wiper & motor from an 1987 5000s Avant (FWD. automatic tranny) and the racks bolted right up.
for $40.
