brake light

Howdy all,

On a roadtrip this week my brake light began to flicker on and off.  It
seemed to do it more when I accelerated or turned sharply.  I am not sure
that the brake pad wear wires are installed on the car.  Does anyone have
any ideas what the problem might be?  I checked and the brake fluid level
was plenty high.  It seems from the manual that this light only lights up
when fluid is low or the emergency brake is on.  Is that right?
