I've gotten half a dozen 2 X 4 or a couple 2 X 6 through the zipper by
sliding the lumber in a foot or so and manipulating the zipper opening
around it. For sure you can get an 8-foot piece in and close the trunk
lid, but I'm not sure about 10-footers.
The V8 has a zipper on the bottom of the ski sack that might be a tad
longer than the one in the 200q20v. If it was a real "need", I think I'd
take out the 200's sack and have a longer zipper installed. My wife could
do the job neatly, and I know of a couple boat canvas places that could
supply ANY length of zipper desired. They buy it in long rolls.
