3B rotors and caps

Mike,

Thanks for kudos, but still not out of the woods yet. All indications point
to June 28... That's still the worst case date for hob delivery.

If you guys wanted to pull together a GP of cap and rotor sounds good to me,
but my coordinating resources might be getting pretty much tapped out.

For what I know though the cap is the same as on the MC engines and for that
matter the NA 20v, and the rotor part number you've gotten from Scott M's
site is the correct one for the 3b. Just a guess, but I think the part
number from ETKA for the rotor on our cars would be the same incorrect one
you'd get from the dealership.

If it was decided to pull together for cap and rotor, bear in mind we have
NA and turbo 20v'ers in the gp; I think the NA 20v uses the wider rotor.

3B gurus, I am replacing the distributor drive gear on my 3B engine
(with many thanks to Derek Pulvino). At this time I would also like
to do the rotor and cap. A couple of questions regarding the 3B
rotor and cap:-

1) Is the cap the same as the MC i.e. 034 905 207 B ?

2) There is a rotor part number (10mm) in ETKA 052 905 225 C
Scott's site gives 054 905 225 and Bosch part number 1 234 332 414 R1
I think Scott has the right part number maybe superceeding
the 052 part?

Is there any interest from the "gear guys" in a group purchase of rotors
caps, sealing washer and that little M8 nut :^)

Cheers, Mike
