Air-Recirculation-Flap Spring Replacement; Where's the
other end go?

There's a plastic bar in the evaporator box that serves partially as part
of the support for the vacuum "motor" that pushes the flap open when the
A/C is on and partially as the anchor for the other end of the spring. If
you disconnect the spring from the door, it's easier to reattach the upper
end first and then reattach to the plastic piece in the door and finally
reattach the plastic piece to the door.
