I think it's done it since day one...they seem to have a natural
tendency for doing that(others have noticed this phenomenon too,
you're lucky if you don't have this problem) and probably isn't
helped by my being overly cautious since it's an aluminium head and
all. I'm pretty bad at guessing torque values by hand as
well...especially with such a clownish tool as the tire iron. I
probably use too much anti-seize to boot. Take your pick...
Not sure about the oil; I made an effort to clean out the tubes, and
I'll check it again shortly to see if I can tell where it's coming
from, but I think it is seeping from the gasket(pretty much the only
place, I suppose, it could come from, eh?)
Ooo, that reminds me...I better hurry up and order them
high-performance sparkplug wire cover screws from Paul! Anyone done
so already? Please, as they say, "Pictures, show us pictures!"
