rekey glovebox

Does anyone know how to remove the lock cylinder from the glove box. My glo=
ve box doesn't use the same key as my door/ignition as it should (not the o=
riginal glovebox obviously). I would like to remove my lock cylinder and re=
place it with one keyed to match my door/ignition. I have tried to get the =
cover off of the latch mechanism on the inside of the glovebox but haven't =
been able to figure it out. Any ideas, tips and suggestions appreciated.
