If you haven't already, suggest you peruse Ned's website
and read the details on his project car.
Seems I remember Ned's experience above 425hp, he was
breaking driveline components in his "Beast" type 44 w/
20v+ powerplant.
His latest project car was bending rods per his webpage
notes,("Horsepower:510 (reduced to 430 hp now as higher
hp bent stock rods") and this was in his lighter car.
Likely he's has remedied the problem by now.
At least he has BTDT.
Just a thought to ponder....per your original question.
