I've checked out IA's site. His hp claims are
impressive, but seem to be estimates to me. I'd really
like to see some dyno charts from his 510hp car. When
I actually break my transmission, I'll go looking for
strong pieces.

If I remember correctly there was a 20vt in a red 5kq.
It was reported to be putting down 500whp at 30psi out
of a 20q mitsu turbo. This was a stock bottom end that
finally let the rods go at 575+hp. He eventually blew
out second gear trying to drag race a viper but that's
a lot more power then I'll be making any time soon.
I'll probably go looking for heavy duty straight cut
gears when I'm making big power on race gas.
